Labor Intensity and Challenges in Manual Pole Straightening

The physical demands of manual pole straightening primarily manifest in manual labor intensity. Pole structures typically consist of long, heavy metal profiles (e.g., steel pipes or conical components), requiring multi-point force application and repeated adjustments at bending sections to achieve alignment. Workers must frequently handle auxiliary tools (such as jacks, scaffolding, and shims) while constantly adjusting their positioning and posture to match the structural stress patterns and deformation trends. Particularly when straightening poles with large diameters or high-strength materials, the required pushing or pulling forces often exceed individual comfort limits, necessitating coordinated teamwork and resulting in significant physical exertion.

Secondly, the mental and muscular fatigue caused by repetitive tasks and precise control cannot be overlooked. Manual straightening relies on experiential judgment regarding bending degree and force application timing, requiring repeated observation and tactile assessmenta process fraught with uncertainty. To meet specified straightness standards, workers may need to repeatedly adjust support point positions, force angles, and application intensity. Such frequent fine-tuning actions can lead to persistent tension in shoulder-neck, lumbar, and arm muscles, with prolonged exposure increasing the risk of occupational strain injuries.

Furthermore, safety risks constitute a significant latent component of labor intensity. During manual straightening operations, structural components may suddenly rebound due to uneven force application, or jacks may collapse due to instability, posing risks of crushing injuries and crush injuries to operators. When working outdoors or in confined spaces, workers must also contend with environmental disturbances (such as uneven ground surfaces and wind effects), which further increase psychological and physical burdens. These challenges collectively determine that manual straightening labor intensity stems not only from physical exertion but also involves high-intensity concentration, risk-related stress responses, and sustained physiological consumption.Cutting Equipment, Welding Equipment,Straightening Equipment, straightening machines.Advanced Automatic Light Pole Welding
