Scientific parameter matching: Customized settings for material properties (3)

The material and specifications of lamp posts vary, resulting in distinct elastic deformation and rebound characteristics. Using uniform straightening parameters would inevitably lead to precision deviations. Therefore, scientifically configuring straightening parameters based on the specific characteristics of lamp posts is a critical step for precise precision control.

Parameter settings must align with material properties. Common lamp post materials include carbon steel and weathering steel, which differ in hardness and yield strength, requiring targeted adjustments to straightening parameters. For example, carbon steel lamp posts with higher hardness require increased straightening pressure and extended pressure holding time to ensure full deformation of the bent section. Weathering steel, with its higher elastic rebound coefficient, necessitates incorporating rebound compensation in parameter settings. Material thickness also affects straightening parameters: for lamp posts with 312 mm thickness, pressure levels must be adjusted accordingly to prevent incomplete straightening due to insufficient pressure or damage from excessive pressure. Operators should first understand the material's mechanical properties and determine appropriate parameter ranges through trial adjustments.

Optimize straightening strategies based on lamp post specifications. The difficulty of straightening and parameter settings vary with different diameters and lengths. For long lamp posts (e.g., over 10 meters), single-point straightening may cause secondary bending in other sections. A segmented straightening approach is required, progressing from both ends toward the center, with local inspections after each segment to ensure overall precision. For large-diameter lamp posts, increase the spacing between support rollers to ensure stable placement while expanding the contact area of the press head to prevent surface damage from excessive localized pressure. Additionally, for lamp posts with thermal stress after welding, reduce initial pressure in parameter settings and adopt a "multiple small adjustments" straightening method to gradually release stress, avoiding precision fluctuations caused by stress concentration.
